Couple days back a friend was telling me. Darren, you free to join us for picnic? And within the split second she said something like “dumb me. I shouldn’t ask. Darren you join us for dinner ok?” When I asked why, she said that she just can’t associate me with a kite & picnic.

I’m quite sure that when she sees this post, she’d say “Not Darren write one”. *grins*

I thought this was a really touching song which illustrates a journey in love by a young couple. Honestly, I did not know the real meaning behind the song until I saw the MV. Nothing emotional, but only if crying will make problems go away… =)

The part of the MV which really touched me was the last part which illustrates the might of love.

I never every said, not because I’m willing, because I love you.

I am never angry, not because I’ve no temper, but because I love you.

I never cry, not because I’ve no tears, but because I love you.

But in this day and age, is this really possible? Are people really able to love so selflessly? I see that it’s becoming more of a trade of needs.

  • Guy: Looking for that most gorgeous/hot girlfriend who will give him 100% freedom
  • Girl: Looking for that perfect guy to provide for her for the rest of her life

Does selfless love still exist in this century? Maybe a few?

If your other half lose his/her memory in entirety and is going to become a kid in months, will you still stick to the wedding vow to take care of him/her for the rest of his/her life? Or with the blessing of his/her parents, look for a better option?

PS: Chen Chen, sorry sorry for not being able to make it for tonight’s steamboat.
